Description

Metallic laser engraving plastic

These sheets look like brushed or polished metal but cut and engrave like plastic, so they are lighter, cheaper and easier to run on a CO2 laser than real metal. Engraving removes the metallic cap and shows the black, white, red or blue core. Thin .020″ flexible sheets bend around curved surfaces and many have an adhesive back.

Options with Clear-Guard have a protective clear coat. Option names list the finish, core color and thickness.

Sheet sizes

Each color comes as a 12″ x 24″ sheet or a 24″ x 24″ sheet (some are 11 1/2″ or 23 1/2″ wide; the exact size is in the Size option). Sheets ship flat in a long box.

Tips

  • Run a test cut on a scrap piece to dial in speed and power for each color.
  • Keep the protective film on until after cutting to prevent smoke marks.
  • Order 5 sheets of your most-used colors to save on cost per sheet.
