Description

Reverse engraving plastic

Reverse engraving plastic has a clear (or clear matte) cap with a colored layer on the back. You engrave the mirror image from the back side, then fill or paint the engraved area if you want a second color. The design is viewed through the clear face, so it is protected from scratches and handling.

This listing also includes Ultimates two-color sheets (engraved from the front) in 1/16″ and 1/8″.

Sheet sizes

Each color comes as a 12″ x 24″ sheet or a 24″ x 24″ sheet (some are 11 1/2″ or 23 1/2″ wide; the exact size is in the Size option). Sheets ship flat in a long box.

Tips

  • Run a test cut on a scrap piece to dial in speed and power for each color.
  • Keep the protective film on until after cutting to prevent smoke marks.
  • Order 5 sheets of your most-used colors to save on cost per sheet.
